Challenge - 20 Reps or 20 minutes


This weekend you have a challenge


To get outside


Into nature


And sit on your own


In silence


And observe


That's it


Each time you find yourself "thinking" of something that distracts you from your observation in front of you


Mark that as one rep and make a note of what it was that took your attention away from the present moment


Before you return to silently observing, remember that the previous distraction can wait till you are done here


Return to silently observing for either 20 reps of the above (the average attention span of people in today's world is between 8 and 12 seconds) or if you are above average continue for 20 minutes.


At the end of this exercise, you should have the following as a reward


A calmer mind


And a list of things that commonly distract you


Take note of this information, it will come in useful further down the line
